About this event
A weekend junior festival in Tartu with a pairs championship, a teams championship and extra activities. Players and staff stay together in one hotel booked just for the festival. Juniors from many countries and of all levels are welcome.
Programme
Fri 7 MayOpening at 10:40, then the pairs championship: 5 sessions of 12 boards (10 for U21), matchpoint scoring. Optional goulash teams for players 18+ in the evening
Sat 8 MayTeams qualification: 8-round Swiss of 8 boards
Sun 9 MayTeams finals in groups of four, 3 rounds of 12 boards, then prize-giving at 14:45
How to take part
Pre-register on the organiser’s page with your name and email. Pre-registered players get a free transfer between Tallinn or Riga airport and the playing area. Registration closes one week before the festival.
Entry and accommodation
- Full package: 200 EUR per person, with 2 nights in the festival hotel, all meals, all tournaments and extra activities.
- Extra nights: 40 EUR per person, with breakfast.
- Invoices to a company are available on request.
- Prizes for the top three pairs in U21 and U26, the top three teams in the A final and the winner of each group.
